Overberg

The Overberg region of Brochure Management could be considered the Jewel of the Western Cape. From the stunning beauty of unspoilt mountain ranges, to the colourful splendor of golden wheat fields, lilac wild flowers and yellow Canola fields, to the rugged coastline of both the Atlantic and Indian oceans which boast some of the best tourist hot spots, stop offs and destinations. The Fynbos found in the area is without precedence considered the best to be seen anywhere in South Africa and the Overberg is home to the Blue Crane, South Africa's national bird. The area stretches from the coastline between Cape L'gulhas to Rooi Els, from the top of Sir Lawry's Pass on the N2 national route to the banks of the Breede River just outside of Swellendam and including the peaceful hamlets of Greyton and Genadendal. The area is a virtual playground offering a multitude of activities ranging from mountain hikes and Para-sailing to whale watching and Shark cage diving. World renowned wine cellars and estates can be found throughout the region with most having wine tasting tours and sales. Each town in the region has a treasure chest of national history which will fascinate those who looking to venture.
